  1. Okay Daren, I'm only doing this for you to get the ball rolling.

Hwee Yen = Unripe Banana :)

I said this simply because I felt I had a lot more to grow, learn and give, so much more.

So if you've ever eaten an unripe banana, it's fibrous and yucky, not really palatable but when it's ripe, it's YUM!

So, I'm still cookie dough, not quite done and not quite finished yet :) Be patient with me k....

    That's all folks!

  3. Why Lychee?

I was telling the LC yesterday that it took me a long time to come up with a FRUIT that matches me!

I was trying to find a fruit that would suit my character .. which i felt was on being consistent.

An apple can be large or small, so would an orange, papaya, durian or watermelon. Their sizes vary on the climate and area of planatation.

Then came Lychee! Just the simple thot that Lychee is always small and round, always averaged sized .. and that depicts the consistent life that i live. Perhaps i am predictable, perhaps i am similiar all round, but yeah lor, i am consistent-lor!

    So Lychee is me!

p/s And i am sweet on the inside too! :) hehe

  4. Dear Yen

I would have thot u would be a Honey Dew .. sweetener all round. Always having that smile :)and encouragement to the people all around, always moving in and out to lend a helping hand and to assist in any way you can.

Unripe Banana? Hmm... let me affirm you that you are "riper" that you think. Bananas have a great influence because the flavour is unique and one of a kind. If you add Banana to a milk shake, the distinct Banana flavour just jumps out at you!

And that's you - you have amazing talents and gifts and your flavour just jumps out when you lend a hand or step into a project, the flavour is distinct and its yummy.

Keep blessing others and using the talents God has invested in u! :)

  5. Haha! I remember the name of the banana now - they are called plaintains, a member of the banana family that are unsuitable to be eaten uncooked because of their starchy and non-sweet nature.

I think that this fruit suits me because at first impression and face value, I'm pretty inedible and abrasive.

But after going through a process of fire, the result can be a tasty snack.

I feel like I'm going through that process of fire now in my life's situations and I'm hoping for a good result at the end of it. Also, in my friendships, it's usually tested by fire and I end up having a close friend or I lose the friendship altogether.

Hmmm, this made more sense to me yesterday when I was verbally describing it... :P

  6. Durian

I have this “Go away, leave me alone” kind of attitude which is bad. Tough on the outside that sometimes I can be hard to open up to the people around me and they have to work on getting on my soft side. I’m sweet on the inside and sometimes can be a bit bitter.. that’s when people see the real me and knows what I’m going through. I still can be fun just a bit shy sometimes =)

  7. Adrian Tan @ Coconut speaks...

The stuborness in me is bad at times when i just don't like someone or something.Find myself quite rebellious too.The rebellion and stuborness in me is as hard and dry like Coconut's husk.I believe God is really breaking the husks and shell in me from time to time to bring the best out of me.Coconut might look plain on the outside,it also has its many uses that not much people realise.Example, the coconut water contains sugar, fibre, proteins, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals which serves as an isotonic electrolyte balance.Similarly, when i'm discouraged thinking that i'm not significant,God reminds me that i serve a purpose in Him and i'm valued.

  8. Hello!

    Me is a Custard Apple..

Simple because its skin is not smooth but very "curvy"... haha.. similarly to my life, there's been just so many challenges and trials that I've been through.. but the only reason I'm standing strong today is because of His love and His grace.. It also gives me the assurance that He'll never leave me nor forsake me in life's future challenges..

When a custard apple is ripe, it's super duper simple to open.. All of have you to do is just press it a lil and it breaks open.. I'm a person I think who's really easy to build a relationship with.. And I cherish every person who comes across my path.. An opportunity to sow into their lives and vice versa..

The fruit is also has many seeds, and you need to carefully eat the flesh from each seed.. it's quite time consuming but it's worth the taste.. I think I a person who goes the distance for my friends.. As tough and sometimes annoying they may be at times, I don't give up on them easily..

So that's me.. The CURVY custard apple.. =)
